Bringing Forth Tech and Business Divas Girls Tech Camp 2025 successfully took place in Buea, Cameroon, bringing together young women eager to develop practical skills in graphic design, t-shirt branding, CNC embroidery, digital marketing, and business branding. Hosted by Nervtek Education, this four-day program focused on hands-on learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship, empowering participants to transform their creativity into marketable skills.   Empowering Young Women for the Future The event was designed to equip young women with in-demand skills, enabling them to thrive in the digital economy. The goal was not only to introduce participants to technology but also to help them market their talents professionally. By gaining practical experience, these young women were encouraged to explore their full potential and take charge of their future careers. Kicking Off with Graphic Design The camp started with an interactive session on graphic design, where participants learned the fundamentals of visual communication. They were introduced to essential design tools and principles, allowing them to explore creative expression and develop their own personal projects. Nervtek CEO / Cyber Security Ambassador Showcase Youth Tech Talent at Ministerial Meeting

Nervtek’s CEO, a Goodwill Ambassador for Cyber Security, led the Nervtek team and Nexgen Champions from the Holiday Tech Camp in a meeting with the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Her Excellency Mme Minette Libom Li Likeng, to celebrate Youth Week 2024. This event provided a remarkable opportunity for the Holiday Tech Camp kids to present some of their impressive projects to the Minister and her cabinet. Starting with the all-girl team TAF’s “Smart Plant Welfare and Monitoring System,” Sonia, Daisy, and Bright wowed the Minister with their innovative solution aimed at helping farmers increase their yields. Courage and Ricky followed with “The Weather Station,” demonstrating how their device collects and displays weather data from the internet, aiding weather analysts, schools, communities, and tourist attractions in better preparing for weather conditions. Finally, Oma delved into the world of AI with “Generative AI,” showcasing its potential for creating websites, images, flyers, text, and even books, leaving everyone amazed by its capabilities. To commemorate their visit, the children proudly presented the Minister with a portrait of herself, designed and printed at the Makerspace. Nervtek also seized the occasion to showcase its educational kits, the nTron Ignite Kit and nTron Inventor Kit, currently used in five regions of the country. Additionally, a Scribble Robot, Solar Powered House, Wire Buzz Game, and Traffic and Street Lighting Kits were displayed, highlighting Nervtek’s commitment to making STEM education accessible and enhancing learning beyond the classroom. The CEO, reflecting on his presidential award win, expressed his gratitude to the Minister for her unwavering support, attributing it to the evident progress seen today. As the Cyber Security Ambassador, he outlined his network-driven efforts to promote responsible usage of ICT devices and social media in Cameroon. He also shared the Holiday Tech Camp’s long-standing impact on empowering children with cutting-edge tech skills and promoting gender equality in STEM fields. The Minister, visibly impressed by the children’s achievements, encouraged them to persevere on their chosen path. She presented them with certificates of encouragement and acknowledged their mentors with certificates of satisfaction.
